2006-07 Season Results
Regional EITC Collaborative enjoyed great success in the 2006-07 tax-filing season, thanks to the generous support of our Regional Partners. A team of over 300 volunteers staffed 31 Free Tax Prep Sites in Southwest Ohio and Northern Kentucky to prepare and electronically file at no charge, a total of 4,500 returns. Those wage earners received refundable EITC and other tax credits amounting to over $5.4 million, without paying commercial tax preparers and without refund-anticipation-loan interest rates. The generosity of our Regional Partners helped build the community’s awareness and support through coordinated marketing and paid advertising.
